To tell or not to tell ?

You know like those dramas / tv series / telenovelas :

the guys is dying of some critical disease. gonna die soon la . but never told anyone except his family la . bla bla bla ... and the reason for not telling to everyone was because he didn't want people to worry bout him .

1. what would you do ? do you tell ?
- at least people know and care more bout you . haha . so selfish .

2. do u keep it to yourself ?
- people will hate you cuz you're MORE selfish .
